I enjoy books that take place in an academic setting and also books about writers, so find the plot of this book intriguing as it combines both of these elements. The descriptive language gives the reader an solid sense of place and drew me in. The cover is also intriguing. I would definitely have picked this book up in a bookstore to take a closer look.
