I enjoyed the concept of this book but felt the writing overall was a bit dry. I enjoyed the story and set up of what is to come but hope that it gets more engaging and eventful as the book goes on. The main character seems like kind of a downer with little hope for anything improving because of the attitude in which he was raised. While, that concept is real, it is just not something I am interested in reading.
