I was initially hooked when I saw that this book is about a writer, but the more I read, the more I became drawn into the story. I love the idea that this writer/struggling teacher "acquires" a story from a deceased student, them moves on to find fame and fortune by publishing it. As if that wasn't enough...the thriller part kicks in when someone who knows what he did contacts him. What was the real story behind the deceased student writer? And what was the real story behind the book he wrote? Are they connected? What will happen to our main character? SO many questions...and I can't wait to read and find out the answers!
