I really enjoyed the beginning of this book! It just dripped with haughtiness and resentment. You really want to feel bad for Jake but he makes it so hard to feel any real sympathy. I can see why he would chose to steal a students manuscript. He's just oozing with the desire to snatch up an opportunity to make it big. I'm excited to see how this story unfolds and what exactly he uncovers in the stolen manuscript. Great first impression that left me needing to know more. And further inspection of the cover totally looks like the bottom of a grave, looking upwards. Creepy and extremely intriguing! Love it!
