Based on the mysteriousness of the summary alone I was ready to claim this novel but unfortunately didn't have enough points before all the claimable copies were scooped up. And after reading the first impression I definitely would not have regretted claiming this without reading the first impression first.
Really digging the sardonic tone of Jake Bonner and this novel. I feel for the guy. I can't wait for what happens when the blonde jerk walks into Jake's seminar.
Perfect title, excellent cover, I am all for The Plot and what it has to offer. I feel slight Secret History by Donna Tartt vibes emanating from this and I loved that book so I feel like I'd love this one too.
