I want to start by saying that I do enjoy the writing in this book. Personally, I thought it was well-done and the writing works well to draw someone into the story.
Thing is, I'm not really a fan of historical books and they have to have something that really draws me in. This one doesn't so I don't think I'd ever willingly choose to read it.
