I’m very curious about this book now, after reading these first chapters. This is historical fiction with an involving storyline full of characters and the emphasis on family and obligation is well handled. The tone stirs with a sort of yearning for something more and this is a strong and promising start. I also love the cover, pretty and soft coloring, conveys the mood of the text very well.
