This is a beautifully written story with a lovely cover. The first few chapters delivered what I hope for from all historical fiction—it transported me to another time and place. I enjoyed getting to know Willow, whose bravery and devotion to her friends and family makes her a sympathetic character. I look forward to reading her compelling story.
