The lovely cover captured my attention instantly and then the plot sealed the deal. I have always been fascinated by stories about women who traveled to start lives in strange places alongside men they have never met. The voice of a Korean woman traveling to Hawaii is one I have not heard before and knowing that the sweet optimism she shows on these opening pages is about to be so sorely tested, makes me clamor to see how she will handle the twists and turns the future has in store for her.
