The characters in this book were extremely appealing to me. Spencer is a wonderful friend and a delightful character, quick to love and cheer for. Justice is also a likable character because, despite his controversial behavior, he is homosexual and grew up in a homophobic household, which is a tough situation to navigate. I admired his ability to come out of the closet and be himself. It was heartbreaking to witness how homicidal the situation had become.
