Twist on YA love novel- at least for me

I enjoy sometimes reading the shorter YA teen love stories for something to split up the stretches of fantasy. This actually seems a bit different than any of the others that I had seen before and would give me a possibly better understanding of a trans teenager that I hadn't read before. It'll certainly be something different than what I'm used to, but looks like it'll be just as popular as any other in given time.
