Initially when I saw this raffle I did not make a connection with the title, thinking it was a "play"....but today when I read the first impression I realized that Oh, this makes sense now and I have to say that reading the first impression kept me interested and I would like to read more. It is very well written and easy to read.
I am personally always interested in learning more from others different than myself whether culturally or otherwise and I think in order for people to become more understanding towards the topics and lives of LGTBQ it is important to read more about it so that we as people may become more tolerable and inclusive, which is what everyone deserves. So, that is really why I would like to read this book. Just to become more aware since there are not a lot of books on this topic and I have certainly not read any. The part that inspired me the most to sign up for this book is because it is a youth/teen book and since teens and youth, in my opinion, are where our future lies, therefore understanding ALL youth/teens better is always a good thing.
