Judging from Spencers language and behavior, I suppose this book is geared toward young adult readers. It's essential for me to connect with a character to really sink into a story, but Spencer is somewhat difficult to relate to. The angst and sour attitude that often come with YA doesn't appeal to me. The cover is just okay.
