Love this book already. I am firmly of the opinion that we need as many trans protagonists as we can have in teen and YA literature, and it is so valuable to have Spencer provide his point of view as he navigates a new school, making friends, wanting to try out for soccer, and all the while being anxious about being outed or having to come out. Based on the synopsis for this book, things aren’t going to be super easy for Spencer and that is heartbreaking. But these stories are so important and it looks like this is going to really shape up to be something great. Definitely will add this to my TBR so I can see what happens!
