Very relevant to the discrimination currently facing today’s transgender youth, The Passing Playbook tells the story of a young trans athlete who is benched because of his gender identity. Will he quietly cheer for his new friends or will he stand up for the rights of himself and other trans kids? This sounds like a great coming of age story and a wonderful story about standing up for yourself, whether you are ready to or not. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I love how many stories are available for the young people of today compared to when I was young. I would love to check this one out and share it amongst my online book community.
