First of all, the cover caught my eye immediately and was definitely what drew my attention to the book in the first place, and the sample chapters did not disappoint. While I tend to stick to fantasy, Simon vs. was the book that really got me into reading again and this book brings back how I felt while reading it. When I got to the end of the sample, I didn't want it to be over. I already feel connected to Spencer and want to hear about his backstory more, and I'm incredibly curious as to what's going to happen as he adjusts to the new environment, as well as where that slight tension with his parents is going.

It's safe to say that this book drew me in with the queer representation in high school and kept my interest in the characters and storytelling and I'm ready to see more from this story and this author.
