I enjoyed this sample of The Passing Playbook!
I like that this book covers very real topics today in US regarding transgender students and participation in sports as wells as adjusting to a new school. The first three chapters provided a pretty good background of the main character while still leaving you wanting to know more about the past and how things will work out for Spencer. I like the format of giving little bits and pieces the past for the reader to collect throughout the book. That definitely makes me want to continue reading and makes me want to root for Spencer!
The cover looks good but could be a little sharper/cleaner in the detail of the clothing. The folds in the pants of the person on the right looks messy and not as natural for what looks like tan skinny jeans. The bright blue in the pants and the red in the jacket don't seem consistent with the other pieces of clothing.
