From the first line, we get a keen sense of Spencer's attitude and wit. We are transported to high school, a difficult place for everyone but especially a trans teen like Spencer. The locker room scene already has me on edge worried about him! This book seems like it has it all - exploration of serious topics, light romance, family dynamics. I loved this first look and I can't wait to read it the rest!
