I was engaged with this story from page 1, the characters, the plot, the setting- all of it grabbed me! The story is one that feels like it could easily jump off the page into real life and spending time with Spencer as he navigates discriminatory policies and heartbreaking moments I can imagine as the book continues will be at times painful. I think this book is something special and I am so glad to see it published and to be hitting shelves soon!
