Spencer is so real. He has concerns and hopes and just comes alive on the page. His family is funny and they are struggling too with what Spencer is going through. Transitioning isn’t easy, especially as a teenager around other teenagers. They are judgmental beings when they want to be. But then, adults aren’t much better. I love the writing. I was fully engrossed in the story. Disappointed when the end of the first impression came. I wanted to keep reading! Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of this book and continue Spencer’s journey.
