Hmmm. This book was very interesting and very hard to review for me. I struggled with the star rating. It's a good book but yet, left me feeling kind of empty. But then again, maybe that's the point of the book. Abby and Elise's friendship is not at all healthy, from either side, and it's all so strange. The writing is good, which made it enjoyable. The author is very imaginative and the Perren and Rhizome was interesting but yet, very hard for me to really imagine and grasp. I would like to read more from Lauren Acampora to see what else she writes. It's not a bad book, just very different! To sum it all up, good but strange....but in a good way. (My review is also good and strange, much like the book!)
