I was so excited to read this book after downloading the excerpt. I had great expectations for this novel. This is the first time in so long that I have read a book and been slightly off put. I literally read the entire thing and at the end of the novel STILL had no clue what the heck I just read.
Abby and Elise were best friends until they reached middle school age. Elise moved into the world of acting and Abby found herself being friends with the other outcasts at school. Abby has always been a very talented artist and dreams of meeting and working with her idol August Perren but life had other plans for her. The girls reconnect at their ten year high school reunion just like Abby had seen in one of her many visions. A casual invitation leads to a brand new life for Abby and a steady stream of differences in Elise's life.
I feel like the hardest part of the book for me was trying to decipher Abby's dreams and what she was planning to do in real life.
