I really enjoyed this one. It was so descriptive and captivating I was hooked from the very beginning. There is a darkness to this story along with mental illness, but I feel like that’s what made it beautiful to me, the rawness of the characters. The writing is unique and beautiful from start to finish. Like I mentioned before, the descriptiveness of this book was unlike any I’ve read in awhile. Truly unique! It stands out.
The story is steady paced so it’s easy to follow and be immersed in. The cover is stunning and reminds me of something you would see on a Tim Burton cover.
This was a first for me from this author and I am interested in reading more of her books.
