The abrupt start and rather short snippet of Paper Wasp only piques my interest ever more for the events that are about to unfold within its pages. Right away I felt there was this manic-ness to Abby's personality and the way she's anticipating seeing Elise again. It was interesting that Lauren Acampora was able to get this to come across in just a few pages. I'm interested to see how the rest of the book plays out when Abby and Elise finally come face to face once more. The writing was languid and beautiful. And let's be honest, that cover is gorgeous.
