The excerpt grabbed me from the get-go because I believe friendship between women is imperative. I have had good experiences and bad. The characters in this book screams, "Pick me up." It almost reminds me of Beaches. This is definitely a book I would want to read and sounds like one of my favorite genres, women's literature.
