Abby is a multi-dimensional character and we learn a few things about her at the start of this book. Her team year high school reunion is this week. She lives at home. She's a chair at a grocery store. She was friends in high school with someone with whom she grew apart, Elise. And, Elise is now famous and might be home for the reunion. Abby keeps track of Elise and seems little obsessed with her- she has a box of articles and pictures she has kept and shares that she dreams of her frequently. Also, Abby feels that she is also destined for greatness and is just waiting for her moment.
Personally, I think Abby is intense, intriguing, and little scary. I really want to know where this story goes next!!
