The Painted Art Journal was an amazing read! I love prompts when dealing with anything creative like art or writing so I really enjoyed this. I'm not a very great artist, but I had fun with the guided prompts.
I really felt like I heard the author's voice in my head while reading. And felt as if she was guiding my work in a gentle way. It was a serene read and comforting as well.
I'm always looking for different ways to get creative and a few of these prompts were way out of my comfort zone but I was excited to try them all and was never disappointed with my end product.
A lot of my issue with my art was that I know it's not good compared to everyone else's' but the author did a really good job keeping my anxiety level to 0 while finishing my projects with reassurances throughout.
