I was so excited to get this one in the mail. Having a teenage son who is into video games, watching videos and chess can be a little difficult to relate to - especially since I'm not good at chess. This book is very well put together and knowledgeable enough to teach a mom like me new tricks. I was able to gather some of the ideas she had and make time to do them with my teenage son. He didn't even grumble that he was making a journal out of an old book for example. The telling of stories and creative rituals were just extra snippets of fun that are also do at your own discretion. I love all the projects that reside within this books pages and can't wait to do more bonding time with my kiddo when we have the time!
