This is the underlying theme to this book. When glancing at the title, I assumed this would be an actual journal with some inspiration. But it's really a guide to creating your own. There are projects, sure. But most of what is in this book are jumping off points, little bits and pieces. Quotes and habits, pretty photos and stories to inspire you to make something all your own. A piece of you. But is scrapbook form.
I think that this book is more for the beginning artist, someone who isn't sure who they are yet and needs some help getting there, a friendly hand pointing them in the direction of something to inspire them.
