I was interested in this book until I read the first look. It is way beyond my talents. I was hoping it would be more of an inspiration for more of a mixed media style. I can't paint people and I certainly can't sketch them either. I am new to mixed media and I am always looking for interesting inspirations. I didn't read much of the first look but I did look at the pictures and they seemed too difficult for me. I liked the cover of the book. The cover is the reason I even looked at the first look. It looked interesting. I was hoping that I could find something that I could pull some ideas from, but it just didn't happen for me. I was happy to see a crafty book on this site. Maybe I will find something I can find inspiration for at some other time.
