Even just the introduction got me inspired to tell stories through art, even though I'm not a professional by any stretch of the imagination. The important thing is to create and to tell a story. Your story is something that no one else can tell quite like you.
The images in this book (the photos, the art and illustrations) are all gorgeously crafted and shot. The coloring and aesthetics are cohesive and inspiring on their own. I love all the images of the workspace in use.
In the Tools and Supplies chapter, the reader is encouraged to not go buy new supplies before trying what they already have. As with most art forms it is usually the case that good art depends more on the artist than the materials, so I appreciated this being brought up in the book so early on.
