First off, I am not a visual artist but I decided to have a look at the excerpt because of the good reviews. I'm so glad I did! Visually, this book is gorgeous. Well laid out and inspiring. There's a scattering of art and photographs that are lovely to the eye.
The text is motivating, inspiring and forgiving. It doesn't tell you to apologize for a life lived, it tells you to examine it and celebrate it via art. I also love the quotes scattered throughout. I feel that this book holds value for those that are visual artists and those who are not. We can all create a vision board as the author suggests. Our final interpretation could be via visual art, the written word or just looking at our creation and contemplating a life lived so far.
