This book is completely captivating. The images that the artist chose for the pages are mesmerizing. The information elements of how to create an art journal are also very informative, but simple. I really like that the author does not make the task of creating an art journal daunting, but instead introduces elements like creative rituals to help schedule in time for creativity and journaling. The author does a great job of describing how to come up with creative topics that will help you create a concrete page. I also really enjoy that the artist included inspirational quote throughout the book and in images to help inspire the creative process. Even after just reading just a few pages, I feel inspired to create and make something. Really enjoyed this book.
