I loved just looking at this book in general. This book is a book on how to get started in the art world but it not only tells you all the information you would need (supplies, how to get started, getting into the right mind set) with detailed descriptions but the book is also filled with beautiful images showing the process of art, art pieces and art supplies. I think photos (especially photos present in a book about art) is especially important as I feel it gets the readers into a more creative mindset and makes the reading feel more personal for the journey they’re trying to start.
Reading just the intro for this book already taught me a lot about getting started in the world of art and painting but it also showed me that art is whatever you want it to be. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and anyone can be the the beholder.
