I am a needleartist, rather than a painter/sketcher/multimedia creator, but I frequently check out books about being an artist to glean what I can to help my own creative process. The Painted Art Journal would be one I'd turn to again and again, perhaps especially when experiencing creative blocks, to provide inspiration and new pathways for my own self-expression. Not just my needlework, but my scrapbooking and other paper crafting would benefit greatly from following the prompts here.
