The world of creativity is not limited to painting, drawing, coloring. My preferred media is cloth and thread. Right now I am doing pieces on plastic canvas, more for its rigidity than anything else. While I understand the occasional need for a mind-clearing ritual before starting work, it's not always a good thing. Setting up a ritual can inhibit creativity because it can interfere with spontaneity. If your inclination is drawing or painting, this is an interesting book. Even if your deal is scrapbooking, you may get good out of this book. I feel it is too tightly focused on its media for many artists.
