I really enjoyed this first look! It made me want to start my own personal art journal to find new and varied ways to tell my own story. What was available in the first look seemed like really clear, concise instructions that set you on the right path, but leaves everything open enough to cater to your own personal life. My only complaint is that the pictures, which are beautiful and probably really necessary for the full book made the first look a little difficult for getting a really good grasp on what the book holds.
