A fast paced psychological thriller that has you on the edge of your favorite reading nook. Adam and Emily meet at bar and Emily was swept off her feet. Adam’s the perfect man and they can’t wait to get married, but not if Pammie, the future mother in law, has something to say about it. If you ever thought you had issues with your mother in law this book just may make you feel better, she’s a nightmare. From the very start you can see the connection between Adam and his mom is a bit too co-dependent at best, but you soon realize it’s much more, you start to wonder will he ever believe Emily if she attempts to tell him how wicked she really is.
I really enjoyed how fast faced this book was through the story line. I found myself invested in Emily’s character and wanted her to end winning the happily ever after. I thought I had it all figured out but was surprised in the end. Great read, I highly recommend it.
