I don't read many thrillers but this one would definitely have me at the edge of my seat. The story opens up with a unknown narrator wanting to inflict pain on an unassuming bride to be. Then the story delves into how Emily meets Adam, and the beginning of their relationship. As the reader, you see the red flags popping up when it comes to Adam's relationship with his mother, but Emily does not. Adam is likeable enough, but I don't really think he is going to be our "knight in shining armor". Through Emily's narration, I think we will see things slowly unfold as she learns more about her new beau and his family dynamics. The plot is moving quickly, by chapter 3, we are two months into their relationship and she's meeting Adam's mother. I think this will be a pretty twisty psychological thriller!
