Very Twisty
This was a very interesting thriller. Over the past couple of years, thrillers with unreliable narrators have become more popular. I have read several that have pulled me in and made me wonder what was going to happen next.
The same thing happened with "The Other Woman." From the very beginning, I was drawn into our main heroine and her relationship with "the man of her dreams." I think any new relationship can relate to the fears and worries that come with meeting the parents for the first time. The anxiety I felt meeting my future husband's family was tripled by reading about the relationships between the mother and son in this book and how they impacted our heroine's journey.
Without spoiling, I will just say that there was a twist at the end that I did not expect and that added to the drama and appeal of this story.
It was not just like every other recent thriller.
