This one wasn't for me. I didn't care for the main character, she didn't have any kind of self esteem whatsoever and she was so helpless and weepy that I found myself rolling my eyes quite a bit. I'm pretty sure she cried or was about to cry twice per page. She was incapable of seeing any red flags when there were tons of them and when anything happened, she did nothing. Absolutely nothing at all. This book really just read as a Lifetime movie and not a particularly good one. All of the other characters were bland, lifeless cookie cutter generalizations of people as well. Now let's talk about the "twist"...or lack thereof. I could see this so-called "twist" coming ten miles away which really made the whole book just seem like filler. I really wish this was better as I was really looking forward to it, but it just wasn't a good fit.
