Have you ever read a book where you thought you knew where it was going, and you were totally wrong? That was this book for me, and I loved that about it. I devoured this book in one day because I had to know what was going on and where it was going.

Emily met a great guy, Adam, but there's only one problem. His mother is horrible. Pammie sets out to sabotage their relationship from the beginning.

I love the idea of the 'monster-in-law.' Pammie was described in enough detail that she felt like a real person, and not a stereotype. As the book progressed, I kept trying to figure out why she was the way she was. This book is definitely a page turner.

The only thing I didn't love was that the ending felt a bit rushed. I wish that maybe there had been parts?
