This book was amazing. I thought it was going in one direction and out of nowhere it made a complete 180. I do not normally read the synopsis of books if it comes highly recommended and I would recommend not doing so for this book. Going into this book just knowing it is going to be great gives you the best experience for the story line.
I loved the character of Emily, the wife, and really did not like Pauline, the mother. I loved the author's writing style and how she gave you just enough information to hook you and make you want more, while leaving you guessing all at the same time.
I loved how the story builds suspense and throws in some major twists. I read a lot of thrillers and can usually figure out where I think the story is going. However, this book still kept me on my toes. I read it quickly because I had to figure out what was going on. I can't wait to read another one of hers.
