This book kept me turning pages. The characters had me frustrated more than once, but I continued to read and enjoy the book. I wish we had seen more development of the good things in Adam and Emily's relationship to go along with other challenges that they had. Emily mentioned more than once that Adam's moms habits were so subtle she sounded crazy sharing them and I agree and think that is what made the book so well done! I am glad Emily had her family's support throughout. The ending came quick, I kept thinking, there aren't many pages left, how is this going to end!? No spoiler, the twist mentioned on the cover was there and unexpected. Thanks to Bookish First for the opportunity to read this book.
