While this was a compulsively readable book, I couldn't get into Emily's relationship with Adam. Aside from their physical chemistry, he was emotionally unavailable, dismissive and controlling. We are supposed to root for Emily and Adam to stay together despite his mother's interference, but there wasn't enough likeable about Adam to stop me from wanting Emily to kick him to the curb within a few chapters. Aside from that the book moves very quickly and it is a fun, easy read. I didn't hate it. It was pretty fast and enjoyable for what it was, but it won't become a favorite. Probably would have liked it more had I been a little more invested in their relationship rather than muttering, "just leave him!" every few pages.
