Not My Cup of Tea
Unfortunately this book just didn’t work for me. I wasn’t able to bond with any of the characters- and when you don’t like the main characters, it makes for a difficult read.
Seb is much too stereotypical which I honestly found offensive. Single woman with an intuitive gay best friend- it’s been done before and it just feels stale in this book.
Adam- meh. There was nothing about him that intrigued me. The scene in the car- really? Offended by a musical joke and his mommy? That right there should tell any woman to get up and go!
Mommy dearest- I can’t get past an elderly woman named Pammie. Again, it just seems over done, like the author is trying too hard.
The bar scene with Ivor- seriously woman- stand up for yourself. Don’t go slouching away! I found her arrogant and yet whiny- and honestly just annoying.
