I'm 102 pages into this book and after my initial excitement about reading it I've been really bored and annoyed with it. Maybe it's because I'm so independent and have a hard time taking $#!t from anyone but after the first interaction with Adam's mom I would've been gone. This is a cheesy wanna be "suspenseful thriller" Lifetime movie in book form and I'm mad that I have invested my quarantine time reading it so now I feel obligated to finish it.

***I finished the book and it just got more infuriating as I turned the pages. I swear I tried to like it but it just SCREAMED cheesy Lifetime/Hallmark movie script to me. The twist at the end wasn't earth shattering and I hope her other books are better and not so blah.
