Wow! The relationship between Adam and Emily was doomed from the start. Emily falling for Adam right away, he seemed to good to be true. Until she met Pammie, Adam's mother. Pammie was manipulative and hell bent on destroying their relationship. Of course we find out why in the explosive ending. All the twists and turns and character development kept me up at night reading this one. The only thing that kept this from a 5 star read was Emily's character. She seemed whiny at the worst times and her devotion to Adam was a little ridiculous when he was pretty rude to her. Despite that, Sandie Jones did a fantastic job building the scene, thought most of the characters fit well with the story, and oh did she write a good Pammie.
