Emily has met the man of her dreams, Adam. He is everything she has been looking for life. Things would be perfect, if only he had a different mother. Pammie appears to be the sweetest woman around and there is no doubt, she loves her son! Adam is fiercely protective of his mother and puts her first. But, mom does not seem to love or even like Emily. They begin a game of tit for tat that quickly gains momentum. Pammie seems determined to break them up and the worst thing is Adam just does not see it. God forbid Emily speak a word out against his mother. Just how much would you be able to take from a woman who does not like you to stay with a man you love? I loved this book so much, it has a quick pace and lots of great twists!
