The cover is beautiful. Mainly because the dress is gorgeous especially with the window behind it. The colors of the lettering doesn’t work though. I like the cover but it is also not so great because it doesn’t feel cohesive. I’m not sure what message or theme it is trying to send. I think covers should be representative and not just an image. The plot itself is interesting. I think most women struggle with their boy friend’s mother. It is just one of those rocky relationships. I know very few women who like their mother-in-laws so in that way this story was familiar and relatable. The characters ruined it for me though. From the start I didn’t like the female or male main character. This really makes it hard to root for their romance.
